Sponsored Bike Ride On Sunday 20th September officers, Helpers, Parents and Friends of the 15th Wigan Boys’ Brigade & Girls Association did a sponsored bike ride from Southport Pier to the Dover Lock Public House, Abram.
Doing the ride was Paul Wilde, Katie Roberts, Steven Hyde, Caroline Wakefield, Steven Smith, Stuart Broad, Dawn Organ, Neil McKenzie, Ryan McKenzie, David Haskayne, Shirley Haskayne, Steven Fairhurst, Karen Hemsley, Steven Gammack, Ged Waterworth, and Andrew Spencer.
The ride was 25.46 miles and took 3 hours and 25 minutes to complete. The Company would like to express its gratitude to all the people who came to the Dover Lock Public house to cheer us on. We would also like to say a big thank you to all the people who have sponsored us. We raised a massive £1,117.32 towards our award evening fund 2009.
